About Yvonne Conaway
Yvonne is the Nurse Practitioner in the practice and happy to be a part of the team at the Women’s Specialists of Fayette. She has a heart for Women’s health and enjoys working with her patients to find solutions to their health concerns.
Yvonne earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of West Georgia. As an RN, she has experience in critical care nursing and Women’s Services. She has 9+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery at Piedmont Fayette, prior to becoming a nurse practitioner. She earned her master’s degree in Women’s Health at the University of South Alabama.
Yvonne provides gynecological care to women in every stage of life. She has experience in breast health. Special interests include care of adolescent gynecology, PCOS, and perimenopause. By educating her patients on nutrition and other lifestyle modifications, she encourages women to take part in their own health care. She enjoys utilizing complimentary alternative treatment options in addition to traditional medicine.
Yvonne lives in Sharpsburg, GA. She has been married to Bobby for nearly 25 years. They have 3 boys. She enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, and camping, as well as various crafts. On the weekends you can find her on the sidelines of various sports fields, cheering on her boys in tennis, football, and lacrosse.
