About Dr. Burke-Bray

Raised in Clayton County, Nykia Burke-Bray, MD is thrilled to join the Fayetteville, GA community, working alongside patients in their pursuit of health and wellness.

Dr. Burke-Bray first developed a passion for service, education, and advocating for women while matriculating through Spelman College. She further honed her interest in building community education programs and public health, achieving a Master of Public Health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. Dr. Burke-Bray then spent several years building school based, community engagement strategies to promote healthy, active, and safe transportation options for families through the Safe Routes to School Program. Recognizing that her long-term career goal included melding her passions for health, education and direct patient care, Dr. Burke-Bray returned to the classroom and achieved a Master of Biomedical Science from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Suwanee campus before earning her Medical Doctorate at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Burke-Bray then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center-Mercer (MHUMC) in the beautiful city of Savannah, Georgia in 2021. While at MHUMC, Dr. Burke-Bray earned her place as a scholar in the Resident to Faculty Leadership Development Program. She was also awarded the Excellence in Resident Research award for research projects focusing on raising HPV vaccination rates in the resident clinic and improving resident education around gynecologic surgery and clinical practice. While completing her final year of residency, Dr. Burke-Bray achieved the highest honor, becoming a mother to identical triplet girls.

Dr. Burke-Bray is proud to provide full service obstetric and gynecologic care and to empower patients through every stage of life. Her special interests include adolescent gynecology, PCOS, infertility, preventive health, and minimally invasive surgery.

When she is not assisting patients, Dr. Burke-Bray enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, music, and all things Harry Potter.
